Expert Wear - Maybelline

A linha Expert Wear da Maybelline tem alguns estojos de sombras com quatro cores, os famosos “quads”.

Você encontra quads super cintilantes (como este) e quads com mistura de tons opacos e cintilantes.

O mais bacana é que agora cada cor de sombra dos estojinhos vem com uma indicação da área onde você pode passar o tom no olho.

Okay, as indicações estão escritas em inglês, mas já é um começo, não?

Traduzindo: Lid = pápebra, Crease = côncavo, Brow Bone = magem da sobrancelha e Outer Corner = canto externo.

Você pode seguir a sugestão e fazer o make como diz na embalagem ou inventar outro jeito de usar a combinação de cores. Vai do gosto de cada um!

Sunlit Bronze (#50)

O preço dos quads varia de R$30 a R$40 reais dependendo da loja ou site.

As cores do estojo Sunlit Bronze são as seguintes:

Lid (pálpebra): Bronze alaranjado

Crease (côncavo): Bronze avermelhado / cobre

Brow Bone (margem da sobrancelha): Bege amarelado

Outer Corner (canto externo): Marrom escuro meio acinzentado

Todos os tons tem acabamento cintilante e a combinação entre eles é muito bacana. Amo marrom, bronze, cobre e bege, porque vai com tudo e todas.

 

Olhos sem delineado e com delineado de lápis e sombra esfumada por cima

O que eu não gostei nesse produto foi a pigmentação geral das sombras. Na minha pele, a cor pega fraquinha e o que mais se nota é o brilho.

Eu fiz a aplicação sugerida na própria embalagem e o resultado final foi um make onde não dá pra distinguir uma cor da outra. Você percebe a sombra iluminadora mais clarinha e o marrom, mas os dois tons de bronze/cobre não dão nem sinal de vida.

Eu sou morena de pele escura e talvez pessoas branquinhas tenham mais sorte, mas eu esperava ver mais pigmentação.

Vocês lembram do duo lilás/roxinho da mesma linha? Ele era fraquinho, só que pegava melhor na pele do que esse aqui. Mesmo com o brilho e tudo mais, eu conseguia ver o tom bonito de lilás nos olhos!

Olhos prontos

A minha decepção grande foi com as sombras bronze, que eu amo e que eu queria ter bem aparentes quando me maquio.

Não rolou…

Ainda assim, não foi um desperdício total, porque dá pra fazer uns makes fofos pro trabalho com o marrom do conjunto.

Ele fica bonitinho no canto externo e esfumado por cima de um lápis da mesma cor, para fortalecer o tom e dar mais definição ao desenho do olho.

O resultado é bem delicado e muito “amigável” pro ambiente de trabalho.

E vão me dizer: “Marina, usa com primer!”

Com o primer as sombras bronze melhoram um pouco, mas não é grandes coisas e sei lá… Tem tanta sombra nessas cores com preço baratinho e pigmentação mil vezes melhor. Vocês não acham?

Resumindo:

A idéia é muito bacana! Não pude experimentar as outras combinações de cores da linha pra saber se são todas assim, mas essa em tons de bronze (Sunlit Bronze #50), mesmo com um preço camarada, não vale muito a pena.

De que adianta pagar R$30 ou R$40 por um estojo que só duas das cores ficam aparentes na sua pele?
